The Fledgling Handbook 101 is definitely for the fans of the House of Night series. Being a fan of the House of Night series, I enjoyed this book. I liked reading the handbook that was talked about in some of the books. I enjoyed seeing what each of the class emblems actually looked like. I also loved the fact that this book is so colorful. There are plenty of pictures for us visual folks out there. This handbook also gives you an insight into what it means to be a new fledgling from talking about physical changes to rituals and even vampyre history. I thought it was interesting to see that Zoey has in fact broken some of the fledgling rules such as fledglings are not allowed to have human consorts to fledglings are not allowed to accept the oath of a warrior. I guess Zoey is an exception to the rules since she is so special.

If you are a big fan of the House of Night series, I would definitely recommend this book to you. Otherwise, I do not think you would enjoy it too much.

Nice little 'sidekick' to the series.
This Handbook P.C. Cast made was very delightful to read. I thought it was a great start to the series House of Nights. I liked how it made familiar to how you become a Fledgling and how I would feel if I was actually attending House of Nights.

The history and present stories about vampyres are great. As the handbook says, A new life awaits you; your path to that magickal future begins here!
I strongly advise anyone interested in the House of Night series to get this guide! No, it is not a guide into how P.C. and Kristen Cast created the House of Night series like most guide books, this is an actual fledgling handbook! This book goes over everything brought up in the series where Zoey and her friends would make any reference to the handbook. This book goes over various House of Night rituals and even incorporates some real life historical events to correlate with the Casts' dark world. This book is a must have companion for any House of Night fan!
Unfortunately I bought this thinking it was a storyline, it's more like some sort of journal? I'm not even sure what to call it but it was a waste of money
this wasn't nearly as informative (?) as I expected it to be - I'm not really sure what I expected, but after I had read all the books in this series, I just really expected more from this book. I don't think I even finished reading it. I can't even remember. . . . .
Upon reading this, it appears to be the "bible" which the author used to keep the facts straight throughout development of the House of Night series. While that may be of interest to some, you're paying for the author's reference document
Favorite HON novels ever. Will there be more in the future,or a series,maybe a movie or movie made? Perhaps commercial or something? Maybe more coloring books? I'm addicted.
