There are so many things about this book that I loved! Nikolas is the kind of male character that makes it hard for you to like real life boys and Warrior only makes that worse. So look out ladies, this alternative perspectives is sure to raise your standards in the best way possible.

I found it very interesting to see how my opinion of some of Sara's reckless actions were more conflicted now that I see them from Nikolas' POV. I feel like Karen Lynch did an amazing job balancing the description of how Nikolas' need to protect Sara and his love for her are half out of genuine emotion and half out of Mohiri instinct from his mori and himself.

I loved getting more insight into Nikolas' history and his relationships with various people, particularly Chris and Tristan. I also loved getting a closer look at him during the times when he nearly lost control.

Overall if you are a fan of the series, you will love the heck out of this book. Now start reading it instantly!

Where do I begin? I was a late bloomer to the Relentless Series. I'd heard so many wonderful things about it that I needed to see for myself what brought about the buzz. In April of this year, I set out to binge the series in audio and loved it. What I didn't get to see from Relentless, Refuge and Rogue, I got in Warrior.
Not to retell the trilogy, but the Relentless series focused on Sara and her evolving and developing into this strong character who learns about her identity. Early on, she happens to meet Nikolas and both (backstory) their lives change almost instantly. Because Warrior is in Nikolas’s POV, I was able to grasp delve deeper and connect more with his personality. In the series, we only knew Nikolas as protector and at times, overbearing alpha. However in Warrior, we feel his vulnerability and the internal conflicts he has within himself, what he has always known his life and sole purpose to be, and of what is now to come...he hopes.
There will be people who will try to compare Warrior with the Trilogy and find Nikolas lacking something. He isn't. The idea that Lynch brings is that Warrior, is in fact HIS POV. The purpose of a POV is to get the inside scoop on what that character was facing emotionally, internally and externally. Nikolas was never a flat character, and in Warrior you get all sides of him; strong, loyal, faithful, nervous, anxious, furious, and lover.
The line that describes Warrior and made my love for Nikolas greater was this, “In that moment, I was undone by her and remade into a new man. A warrior still, but a mate and a lover first. And I felt complete.”
Warrior was wonderfully told and together all four books are a must for your collection.
I absolutely love this series, so I've been literally counting down the days for this release. Unfortunately I over hyped myself. I was wanting to know EVERYTHING we missed from Sara's POV, and hoping to find out more of their life post war......which of course isn’t exactly realistic. The book is MASSIVE covering the entire trilogy and flowing seamlessly. It was very interesting to see how different Nikolas and Sar were when seen through the eyes of him instead. If you are hoping for a lot of extra content, you will be disappointed. It's not a companion novel. It is definitely an alternative POV. That being said, there are a few new scenes peppered in an a totally adorable new ending. I still walked away loving Nikolas and Sara and dying to hear more from their world. I can't wait to see what's next......even if it's just small glimpses of their lives through other characters!
If you’ve read the Relentless Series, you know that it is told from Sara’s perspective. She’s a 17yo girl (who turns 18 in the series) and she’s used to the fact that there are all sorts of creatures living in this world, not just those that humans believe there to be. She doesn’t understand her place in it, and all that changes in that series. She has an, oftentimes, mysterious and broody protector and mate in Nikolas. This book is all of those books in his point-of-view.

You’ll get a few other side characters in this story that you don’t really get in the other, but not many, and you really need to know your stuff in the other series or several things will leave you scratching your head here. So, if you read this, make sure that you brushed up on the other books first, or read them in tandem with one another. Overall I enjoyed this book and I think that Ms. Lynch did a great job at creating this book without it feeling like a rewrite. I would recommend this book, I think it adds to the series and rounds it out really well.
In this book, we get Nikolas Danshov POV of the events in all three books, I absolutely love it and wished I could play them at the same time. with that said I will wrap up all four books with this, I believe the author could have used a little bit more originality, the Bella & Edward- Anna-Christian have been done to death! Why can't the teen girl be stylish and practical, no she is very much like Bella hoodies, jeans and tennis shoes really and doesn't like to shop, plus she gave the heroin the last name GREY really!!!! Nikolas is super overprotective to the point it gets one your last nerve! The Book and the series are good and I enjoyed the story. BTW there very little sexual scenes mainly kissing and caressing. When it does finally happen it's so short and sweet and tastefully done, Kudos to the author who is able to tell a story without SEX!
