I am officially a huge fan of Andria Large. I actually read her books in the wrong order: I read the Taboo Love series first, then the Renegade series, then the 1st book in the War trilogy, and then the Beck brother series, which I became curious about while reading the Renegade series bc Sebastian is in that book too. With each series, I have found that each book within the series gets better.

I think the author's strength is character development and The emotional intensity between the characters. I think a lot of the reviewers talk about loving the really smoking sex scenes, which I like but really she' so captures the emotional intensity between the couples that it is amazing!! Very few authors can write emotionally heart wrenching scenes like Ms Large. She also does an excellent job with addressing mental health issues in her books as well,from PTSD due to sexual trauma to panic attacks.

I also loved the relationships between the brothers, they were so realistically portrayed. They were fiercely loyal and supportive of each other, but they could also be real jerks too. All of the heroines were great, strong, independent, loving, but could more than handle the Beck men. In all of her series there has been a gay couple and each time she has done an excellent job exploring the young men coming to terms with their sexual identity, coming out to family and friends, and dealing with bigotry.

Like most romance novels, some of the situations and damsel/dude in distress moments are over the top, but that's ok, it's fiction and its a romance novel: some of its supposed to be fantasy!! The only thing I could wish for is that in her next book about a gay couple, I wish that both men know, from the beginning that they're gay. In each of her books, one or both of the men seem to have no clue about their sexual orientation until they meet the love of their life. I'm ok with that, because I realize that sexual orientation can be fluid, but if I were gay, I'd want to read a book about people who are certain and confident about their identity as well.

Great series, excellent author, I will miss the Beck brothers but look forward to continuing on with the Renegade and War series!

All four books are a joy to read. I don't want to spoil it for anyone. These are fun loving books. You'll fall in love with all the different characters and can't wait to see how things work out. The author did an excellent job of making all the books flow very nicely and giving you glimpses of how each characters evolves and grows with each story. I love that I wasn't left wondering with what ever happened to...... with no resolution. Definitely an author I look forward to keep reading.

Love this series. I like how Andria Large doesn't follow the routine romance formula guy meets girl, guy and girl get together, guy and girl fight, something tragic happens, they they realize they are destined for each other. Her books don't follow any pattern, each one is unique and exciting. Defintiely a must read!!!!
I originally was only looking for Christian, before realizing it was a series. I am so glad I found it. I enjoyed all of their stories and buying it like this, in the collection instead of separately, I saved a few dollars - so the collection is a definite recommend if you want to save money, because trust me, 1 of these books won't be enough!
I read the last book about Christian first and was captivated so much by the brothers that I just had to go back to the beginning and read each of their stories. Each of the characters were complex and quirky but still the brothers really fit well together. There were times I laughed out loud and also cried my eyes out. A most enjoyable series
I loved this series! I enjoyed these brothers so much and their families too. I did have my own favorite which was Sebastian, then Henry came in next.
I will not go into spoilers for this series, but I will encourage you to read it. MS LARGE is an outstanding author that writes with profound sensitivity. Her books are suspenseful and romantic.

I got Henry as a freebie and while I had some trouble getting into it here and there, overall I wanted to see what the author was going to do with the other brothers stories.
I am glad that I did! This family has its share of ups and downs and while some of the going on's were a bit over the top, they stayed a strongly bonded family.
I had to take away a star (though I went back and forth about it!) because of some typos and some flow issues. Loved the whole series and I am glad that I broke down and bought this pack so I could read about them all.
I agree that the books need editing. I think I would have enjoyed all the books if the author didn't mention the names over and over in the same paragraph. In the first book I was sick of the name Clair, In the second book I was sick of the name Sebastian.

We know that the writer is talking about Sebastian why not use he/his. I could give many examples, but then I would have to copy and paste the entire book(s), I chose this example because this is where got really irritated enough to stop reading.
I did read a review that the authors writings get better. I hope that this was one of the corrections. It may not make sense to say. but the stories are good, the writing itself needs lots of work. This is a writing with great vision and promise.
